Sir Ganesh Dutta Memorial College was established in 1979 in the memory of Sir Ganesh Dutta Singh One of the founders of Bihar devoted for Educational Development of the State. The College has been granted permanent affiliation in Arts and Science streams up to Honours level by Govt. of Bihar under Patliputra University, Patna. College is recognized under Section (F) & 12 B of the UGC Act, 1956 by University Grants Commission, New Delhi, Sufficient Infrastructure, laboratory facility for practical work is fully equipped and maintained in the college. Hostel facility for girls is available in College campus. Under dynamic guidance of Governing Body, the College made immense progress in order to achieve the pious goal of promoting the real and meaningful education. The college has been functioning with remarkable success and established its glory in the State and produced First Bihar Topper in Intermediate of Science Examination, 2013. Many students acquired position under Ten in various examinations. Extra curricular activities like Seminars / Workshop / Tour Programmes are organised by the College time to time for Student benefit.
